Our Trip to Bohol Part 2

June 4, 2015 by BFiskilis Leave a Comment

More adventures and fun during our Bohol Holiday

Well,  to continue our journey on the previous post i made we had a stop over at Loboc Church. Since the way to Chocolate hills is in the same route we just keep on driving ahead.

man made forest

We had a quick stop over at the man made forest, oh the wind breeze was so calm and its cool too. A very amusing view to look with all the green lushes of the tall trees surrounding you. It was a very nice place indeed to be.

tarsier in bohol

Next stop is of course will not complete out journey if we missed to see this very tiny and one of a kind creature, the tarsier. Tarsier is the smallest monkey in the world. It is as sized as my fist. The tarsier sanctuary is like a forest with the tarsiers on the trees. These tarsiers are territorial and the guides there said they have been there in that place for a long time and didnt even move or transfer to another tree. After a sweaty walk going uphill where these little creatures are it time for a quick refreshment in the local shops nearby. The tarsier sanctuary entrance cost Php 60.00 per head.

buko juice

Ahhh..feels so refreshing.. A big sip of this fresh young coconut juice for Php 25.00 . I haven’t drink this for almost 3 years..It is so good, plus with a bibingka to pair with it. Yummm…Anyway time to head up. Next stop…

chocolate hills

Chocolate hills is the main attraction of Bohol Island so these where we heading. With a ticket entrance of Php 25.00 each. Explore and enjoy the beauty of nature from above.

chocolate hills bohol entrance

To get to the top  of one of the hills, you need to climb up on this 243 steps to capture the really beauty. Its a  good exercise too ad its all worth it.

Take some pictures then we head down to the adventure park just a few meters away from chocolate hills.
