Travel Guides and Information for those who plans to visit Philippines, based on our experience. Experience the green alluring scenery of tropical island Philippines. The first time you arrive in Philippines is at Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Why not stop by and explore the capital city of the country? Manila is the capital city of the Philippines. It is one of the sixteen cities that comprise the national capital region of Metro Manila. Many tourist use Manila as a transit point, a place to spend a day or two on the way to the islands and beaches of the south or the mountainous tribal areas of the north. A couple of days is all you really need to explore the key sights in and around Intramuros, the city’s only notable historical enclave, its stone houses and grassy courtyards much as they were when the Spanish regime came to an end in the nineteenth century.
If you’ve got a bit more time on your hands, these are some of the places you should not missed
- Take a wander through nearby Binondo – Chinatown – or head out of the city on a day-trip.
- Manila Bay island of Corregidor– There’s plenty to see and do in the vicinity of the capital, a fascinating reminder of the horrors of war to the rapids and waterfalls at Pagsanjan.
- Malate and Makati’s funky bars and nightclub-Manila also prides itself on the quality of its nightlife and the ability of its residents to kick up a good time. For many tourists, this will be their enduring memory of the place: areas whose attraction stems from their egalitarian nature.
- Manila Ocean Park – From a spectacular marine themed park, Manila Ocean Park has finally evolved into Metro’s Holiday Destination where everything is all about Life and Living. An array of exciting attractions, enticing view of the bay, enriching marine life exhibits, entertaining dining and lifestyle shapes to mold into an integrated resort destination. Manila Ocean Park is proud to have a marine-themed park in the country that houses Life of the best of both under and over the sea!
It doesn’t matter who you are or what you are, you will have fun in Manila. All you have to do is take a deep breath and dive in.
