Angeles City
It is known as the number one. Entertainment City of the Philippines world famous for its bars and blooming nightlife. It is located 80 kilometres north of Manila and can be reached within one hour; it is the former home of the biggest American Base “Clark Air Base”
Clark Airbase is a former U.S Air Force Base located 3 miles west of Angeles City. It was an American facility from 1903 to 1991. The base covered some 1,600 hectares, and is now owned and used by the Philippine Air Force, retaining the same name “Clark Air Base” this is what put Angeles City on the map.
It’s is rising from the ashes by putting itself back into the economic status that it once occupied and dreamed surpassing feats by any city or place has ever accomplished.
Tourist Attractions.
Bale Matua
Located in the centre of Angeles City ” Bale Matua ” was constructed in 1899 with its high stone walls and ornate gates, an excellent historical place to see.
Post Office
Located at Sto. Rosario was utilised by the U.S Army as a jail for recalcited U.S Troops in 1899- 1901.
Holy Rosary Cathedral
The U.S Army used the Holy Rosary Cathedral as a Military Base from 1899-1990.
